Having been messed about by a number of jewelers with problems relating to finding the stone I wanted and also the setting I was beginning to lose hope that I would be able to find the perfect ring for my fiancee. I found MDC by luck really, searching for loose stones with the specifications I needed and they had one that matched, at an extremely competitive price also.
I initially e-mailed my interest and telephoned. Rosa was both delightful and extremely helpful, although unfortunately they had sold the stone that i had seen. I was gutted and starting to worry again when within 48 hours she had contacted me with an alternative. It was perfect. Through e-mail I discussed the setting which had been the stumbling block for four or five other companies. Rosa took all the information that i had and i felt took it all on board. We passed a number of e-mails confirming what I wanted and although I was nervous spending that amount of money on a ring that I couldn't see in real life I felt i could trust her.
Within 10 days of the ring being made (which was also speedy), the rings had traveled across the Atlantic and to me. It was exactly how I imagined it would be; stunning. My fiancee was blown away and fell in love with it immediately. The attention to detail was fantastic, the way the stone was set was perfect and although I had been specific about some of the setting I left the rest to MDC to do what they thought was best. The result was everything that I had asked for with all their input dovetailing wonderfully.
In short, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were helpful, friendly and receptive to my wishes and made the pictures i had in my head appear. I would whole-heartedly recommend them and in fact I'm just about to e-mail them to buy some earrings for a surprise on the big day.

I ordered an engagement ring and was nervous about buying something like that on-line. They did a great job of making the ring and mounting the diamonds. I think it is spectacular and sure hope she does too!!
The folks at MDC do respond to questions and seem to really care about their customers. I won't be hesitant to talk to them the next time I need jewelry.

Aside from acknowledging safe receipt of my item, I felt I must write to tell you how thrilled I am with my purchase. It arrived today in perfect condition and beautifully packaged. It's my present to myself for a grueling 18 months, and receiving it has given me a real boost. There's nothing like quality diamonds to perk a girl up!
I'd been a little nervous about buying a luxury item I hadn't seen and I carried out quite a lot of e-Bay research, your feedback being the most impressive of them all. Satisfying your customers is one thing, but surpassing their expectations is quite another, and in this respect you are undoubtedly the best. My local jewelers has a pendant very like this one (for about three times the cost), and I have to say mine is much nicer! Your providing me with a formal appraisal is another huge bonus. It was a super deal and you are an absolute gentleman to work with. And I do appreciate your help with the postage method.

Phenomenal Service and Quality at an Affordable Price
On Monday, August 2, 2010, I visited the MDC Diamonds staff at their office in the popular NYC's diamond district. The staff, especially Rosa, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. They had a no pressure approach and advised me in choosing my asscher cut diamond earrings, which I receive complements on almost daily. Rosa took the time to show me the differences between two types of asscher cuts and provided me with the option to choose each stone to be set, which were ready the next day.
